Why has my credit card been declined?

Your credit card may be declined for a number of reasons.

For online orders it may be;

  • Card has reached spending limit 
  • Card details have not been entered correctly
  • Account and billing address do not match
  • Card may be expired
  • Security checks for unusual activity

For in-store purchases it may be;

  • Card has not been inserted or read correctly
  • Card was removed from card reader before completing transactions
  • Card has reached spending limit
  • Card may be expired
